TO CONCLUDE

I learned to do everything you see before...

Good bye and see you later...

TOPIC SENTENCE - SUPPORTING SENTENCES - CONCLUDING SENTENCES

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle requires eating a nutritious diet and getting regular exercise. A nutritious diet includes eating a variety of foods from each of the four foodgroups: meat, dairy, fruits and vegetables, and grains. Regular exercise is also an essential part of keeping a healthy lifestyle. Most experts recommend exercising at least thirty minutes a day,six days a week. These two aspects, eating a healthy diet and exercising on a regular basis, will maintain a healthy lifestyle.

TOPIC SENTENCES - MAIN IDEA - CONTROLLING IDEA

What causes cancer? The basic causes are unknown, although certain conditions that may lead to cancer have been identified. For example, we know that repeated injury to the cells is a factor. Such damage may result from overexposure to the sun, excessive radiation, and contact with certain chemicals. We also know that some forms of cancer in animals have been caused by viruses. Most physicians and scientists who have studied the problem believe that cigarette smoking is the principal cause of lung cancer. Nevertheless, because of our limited knowledge of what precisely causes cancer, research to find the basic causes of human cancer is still under way in many fields of science.

PROS AND CONS

LIVING in the CITY

Living in a big or small city is usually a hidden dream of certain village-dwellers. Nevertheless, it has both its advantages and disadvantages.

On the plus side, it is often easier to find work, and there is usually a choice of public transport, so you do not need to own a car. Also, there are a lot of interesting things to do and places to see. For example, you can eat in a good restaurant, visit museums, and go to the theatres and to concerts. What is more, when you want relax, you can usually find a park where you can feed the ducks or just sit on a park bench and read a book. All in all, city life is full of bustle and variety and you need never feel bored.

However, for every ever plus there is a minus. For one thing, you might have a job, but unless it is very well paid, you will not be able to afford many of the things that there are to do, because living in a city is often very expensive. It is particularly difficult to find food and cheap accommodation. What is more, public transport is sometimes crowded and dirty, particularly in the rush hour, and even the parks can become very crowded, especially on sundays when it seems that every city-dweller is looking for some open space and green grass. Last of all, despite all the crowds, it is still possible to feel very lonely in a city.

In conclusion, I think that city life can be particularly appealing to attract young people, who like the excitement of the city and do not mind the noise and pollution. However, many people, when they get older, and particularly when they have young children, often prefer the peace and fresh air of the countryside.

THREE PARAGRAPH COMPOSITION

MURPHY´S LAW

History
The Law was originally discovered by a sergeant at Edward's Air Force Base, California. Rocket-sled experiments were done by the United States Air Force in 1949 to test human acceleration tolerances (USAF project MX981). One experiment involved a set of 16 accelerometers mounted to different parts of the subject's body. There were two ways each sensor could be glued to its mount. Of course, somebody managed to install all 16 the wrong way around. It was then that Edward A. Murphy, Jr made his epic pronouncement: “IF ANYTHING CAN GO WRONG, IT WILL”.

Why Is Important To Know It
Practically everything in our life is under the influence of Murphy’s Law but only with a deep domain of his principles, we will be prepared to face any unforeseen and though we will not to be able to avoid that “certain things” happen, at least we will prepared, we will know why they happen, we will learn to accept them and maybe, only maybe, we will manage to reduce his effects.

Examples
o You will always find something in the last place you look.
o The other line always moves faster.
o No matter how long or how hard you shop for an item, after you've bought it, it will be on sale somewhere cheaper.
o In order to get a loan, you must first prove you don't need it.
o Anything you try to fix will take longer and cost you more than you thought.
o When a broken appliance is demonstrated for the repairman, it will work perfectly.
o There's never time to do it right, but there's always time to do it over.
